I'm planning a Disney trip for about 20 of us and we'll be booking 7 rooms at a Disney resort. When I make the reservation is the deposit a flat amount for the whole reservation or is it so much per room?

    Hi Karen,

How exciting to be planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation for your group! This is a great question, and the answer actually varies depending on a few factors. If you you are booking a Magic Your Way Vacation Package for each room, then you will only be required to pay a $200 deposit per room. If you have any families in your party who will be booking two rooms for the same immediate family (two parents and four children, for example), then they can reserve two connecting rooms and pay just $200 for their entire reservation. Otherwise, all seven rooms will need their own deposits.

If you are booking Room-Only reservations (no tickets), then you will need to pay the first night room and tax on each of the rooms.

Regardless of which you choose, I recommend that you book all of these rooms together at the same time and request that it be notated that you are all traveling together. Let them know you'd like your rooms to be as close together as possible. While Disney can't guarantee this, they do their very best to accommodate requests such as this.

You are going to have so much fun together as you make memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Wishing you magical memories,
