    Hi! I'm planning a Disney trip in June and would like to know when Skipper Canteen at MK accepts reservations? If I couldn't make it in advance, can I go first thing in the morning to reserve a table for dinner?

    Welcome, Adventurer Grace, to the Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen!

    Currently, (subject to change), this restaurant does not accept Advance Dining Reservations, but the ever popular and world famous Jungle Cruise Skippers are waiting for you when you walk up to the podium. Stay tuned with the daily official Disney Parks Blog for updates and information.

    I happened to dine here recently and thoroughly enjoyed looking through my "World Famous Jungle Cuisine". The menu is exactly the same for lunch and dinner and both meals are considered Table-Service on the Disney Dining Plan and currently count as 1 Table-Service credit. At this time, Tables in Wonderland is not accepted. The type of food served is South American, Asian, and African-influenced.

    Alberta Falls, the granddaughter of Dr. Albert Falls (founder of the Jungle Navigation Company) is waiting for you Grace, and will welcome you to the Jungle Skipper Canteen where you'll be seated in one of three dining rooms: Crew's Mess Hall, Falls Family Parlor, or S.E.A. Room.

    Tips:
    Don't forget to order the Schweitzer Slush in the Souvenir canteen mug (for purchase). Just let your server know that you would like to keep the mug, and you will be assisted accordingly.
    I just loved Skip's Mac and Cheese with Spiced Ground Beef and made extra room for that delectable Kungaloosh Dessert.
