Ahoy Velia –
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your question about Walt Disney World versus Disney Cruise Line for infants and toddlers is one of the most difficult questions for any Mouseketeer to answer! The answer really depends on personal preference, but I am so happy to give you the pros and cons to make an informed decision.
Both venues have wonderful opportunities to bond and play with babies and toddlers. At the
Walt Disney World Resort consider attractions like It’s A Small World, the interactive play area of the Dumbo Ride, Nemo and Friends ride at Epcot, Kilimanjaro Safaris at Animal Kingdom and convenient
Baby Care Centers for diapering and feeding. There are no dedicated child care centers for toddlers or babies at the Walt Disney World Resort, but in-room babysitting can be arranged through your Resort Hotel.
Disney Cruise Line has Open House play time in
“it’s a small world” nursery and the Oceaneer Club, convenient secure check-in childcare too, water features and splash zones specific for infants and toddlers, and various Disney Junior playtime activities. Of course, if you ask me as a mom on the Disney Cruise Line Moms Panel, I am always going to pick the cruise as a better option because in my opinion, there are different things to do on the cruise with your children and more free time for mom and dad.
Whatever option you choose Velia, your crew will have a great time!
