I'm planning on going to Disney Land with my sisters next month! YAY! I may be 3-4 weeks pregnant when I go. Since I will be so early along are there any rides I really should avoid? (also I might not know if I am pregnant)

    Hi, Brittany!

I love visiting the Disneyland Resort with my children, but I have to admit, there’s nothing like a Disneyland Resort adventure with best friends, or in your case, sisters! You and your sisters are going to make so many special memories together during your theme-park adventures. And to think you may even be pregnant for this girl’s trip… talk about a pixie-dusted vacation! I’m SO happy for you!

For a list of Attractions you may want to avoid while pregnant, simply head over to disneyland.com and filter your search by the Accessibility & Advisories drop down. Then, select “Expectant Mothers Advisory” under “Physical Considerations”. This search will generate a list of Attractions to avoid while pregnant, in the interest of your baby’s safety. However, I’m pleased to announce that there are still plenty of delightful Attractions, Parades, Dining, and Entertainment options that are sure to keep you busy.

Some of my favorite Attractions to enjoy while pregnant include The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, “it’s a small world”, and Haunted Mansion. Don’t forget to check out the Tropical Hideaway, which recently opened at Disneyland Park. Plus, you won’t want to miss the highly-anticipated Mickey’s Mix Magic nightly musical extravaganza!

Best wishes for an unforgettable Disney getaway, and a healthy pregnancy!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
