I'm planning on going to Disney for Christmas week. I really want to give my family the gift of eating at Be Our Guest and Space 220 but not seeing any reservations. Will I still be able to get in off a wait time or should I just give up on the idea?

    Hi Deion,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to drop by with your question.  I am so excited for you and your family to visit Walt Disney World Resort during Christmas week, it is my absolute favorite time to visit, there is nothing more magical than Christmas at Disney!

Since you are planning on visiting during one of the busiest times of the year, Advanced Dining Reservations can be difficult to find, especially for the more popular locations.  My best piece of advice would be to keep trying.  Guests tend to make lots of reservations, and as their vacations approach, plans change and some reservations do become available.  Try looking at off peak times, and different days, you may have better luck.  I have been watching the Walt Disney World Resort website daily as well for one last Advanced Dining Reservation for our visit at the same time.  I have found in the past I have been successful in finding reservations closer to my actual visit.  In the meantime, make a "backup" Advanced Dining Reservation that you would be happy with, just in case you are unable to find your first choice.  If Be Our Guest Restaurant or Space 220 becomes available, you will be prompted to cancel your existing reservation before booking your "new" reservation.

If by the time you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort you still haven't managed to secure your Advanced Dining Reservations, once you arrive at the Theme Park the day you would like to dine, head over to the restaurant as early as possible and ask the Cast Member if there are any Same-Day Walk-Up Reservations available.  Most Dining Locations do have a few available, depending on capacity.

I hope you are able to secure your Advanced Dining Reservations, Deion.  If you have any other questions, please come back and visit planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
