Hi Sarbhjit,
Thank you for bringing such a great question to us!
I can imagine the excitement in your household as you plan a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate the New Year. Check out some of the
ways we celebrated in prior years. Before you reserve a vacation package, check the
theme park reservation availability calendar to make sure there is
Disney Park Pass system availability before your visit.
With a family of eight, I would consider a bungalow at
Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows. Also take a look at the Casitas - Executive Suite at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, a Treehouse Villa or 2 Bedroom Villa at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, a 2 Bedroom Suite at
Disney's Contemporary Resort, or a 2 Bedroom Suite at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I also suggest that you review the entire list of
Disney Resorts Collection hotels.
My family adores resort hotels with access to
Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Contemporary Resort all have access to the resort monorail. Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa also have walking paths to Magic Kingdom. Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts and Disney's BoardWalk Inn are within walking distance to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. We love being able to walk to the parks!
As you consider your options, think about the amenities that you would prefer. My family appreciates having several dining and transportation options at our resort hotel. Of course, budget is also a factor for us. So, take a look at the
Special Offers to see if there are any offers that might be applicable for the dates of your visit. Keep in mind that new offers are released throughout the year.
Sending a little pixie dust your way as you make your decision!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
