Hello, I'm planning my day Jan 24 to Magic k and planning to use my car, since i'm not stating in any Disney hotel / Resort. how and where should i park?

Hi Leopoldo, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for driving on over with your question. Let's get you on the road to fun at the Walt Disney World Resort!

My family lives about an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so we always have to think about parking when we visit. But no worries, Leopoldo! Parking at the Theme Parks is pretty straightfoward. So, here we gooooo!

Once you're on Walt Disney World property, you'll follow the purple directional signs to Magic Kingdom Park. When you reach the toll plaza, you'll pay the daily rate - which you can find on the Walt Disney World parking page here on the website - and continue on to the main lot. Cast Members will direct you right to a parking spot, and before you know it, you're ready for your adventure to begin!

Another quick thing to note is that after you've parked your car, you'll still need to hop aboard a monorail or ferryboat to get to the Magic Kingdom. We love that monorail ride, especially when you glide right through the middle of Disney's Contemporary Resort!

I hope this helps drive up the fun on your Walt Disney World vacation, Leopoldo! Please swing on by and see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
