I’m planning a 7 day Disney world trip at the end of November, my brother in law would only be able to stay 3 days. Is it possible to purchase my hotel and park tickets for my partner and I, and add him to the hotel for those 3 days after?

    Hi Taylor,

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! Any amount of time spent in Walt Disney World with friends and family is magical, and I’m glad you get to enjoy time with your partner and brother-in-law this fall.

If your room and tickets are associated with a vacation package, all guests on the package must have the same ticket type and you would not be able to purchase a 3-day ticket for your brother-in-law. Instead, you can book your room reservation and purchase your tickets separately, so you can purchase the ticket length that meets each guest’s needs. If you already have your vacation package booked and would like to separate the package, I recommend calling the number listed under “Disney Resort Hotel Reservations” for assistance from a Cast Member. Your tickets will need to be paid in full at the time of purchase.

You’ll be visiting during one of my favorite times of the year, Taylor! I love hearing holiday music and seeing the seasonal décor throughout the theme parks. You may even get to visit the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays when it opens on November 24, 2023. It sounds like this may be an adults-only trip, so I’m attaching the latest episode of the planDisney Podcast to this answer which covers must-dos at Walt Disney World Resort for young adults! If you have any future planning questions, you can visit me again at planDisney!
