Hi, there!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amber. We're glad you stopped by!
Planning a date night during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is a fabulous idea. During my family's most recent stay, my husband and I enjoyed a night out while we left the kids with an in-room babysitter. We had the best date in
Disney Springs! Craft cocktails at The Edison followed by an incredible dinner at Paddlefish made for a very nice break from all the adventure we experienced with our kids in the theme parks.
One of the many things I love about the
Disney Dining Plan is it's flexibility. That flexibility adds a lot of convenience to our Disney vacations, and this mom of three needs all the convenience she can get! I'm happy to tell you that you can exchange one Table-Service entitlement for one Quick-Service entitlement. It's not necessarily the best value for your remaining entitlement since a Table-Service meal is generally more expensive than a Quick-Service meal, but making the swap means you won't have a wasted entitlement! To get the best bang for your buck with that swapped entitlement, be sure to order one of the most expensive entrées on the Quick-Service menu, along with a specialty beverage like a milkshake or smoothie. When you place your order, simply let the Cast Member assisting you know that you'd like to use a Table-Service entitlement for the meal.
Did you know you can keep track of your meal and snack entitlements on the
My Disney Experience mobile app? You can also place mobile food and beverage orders from the app, and use your dining plan as payment!
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
