Hi Pamela!
Thanks for sailing by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with these excellent questions! You must be getting ready to set sail to paradise on a Disney Cruise! Your son is going to have so much fun onboard with all there is to see and do.
Because space at
"it's a small world" nursery! is limited, reservations can be made on a first-come, first- served basis. When you register your son for the nursery, you'll set up a parental password. Kiddos enjoying the
Youth Clubs onboard will also receive a wristband. Only parents or an authorized adult are allowed to drop a child off to "it's a small world" nursery! While checking your son in, they will scan his wristband and you will speak with the Youth Counselors about anything you might want to tell them regarding your little buccaneer. When you pick your son up from the nursery they will scan his wristband again, you will scan your Key to the World Card and then you'll need to give the Youth Counselors your parental password.
You will absolutely be able to send your son to "it's a small world" nursery! with diapers and a blanket! The Youth Counselors will be happy to feed your son during his time in the nursery. Meals can be provided upon request. The nursery will typically have crackers, apple juice and water available for the kiddos to snack on. If your son has a favorite snack that you'd like to bring from home, that would be allowed, too! It must be sealed in its original packaging and not have any nuts in it. If your son gets tired from playing, there's also a separate, peaceful area with cribs available for kids who want to take a nap.
I'm wishing you and your family the best Disney Cruise imaginable!
Beth
