Welcome back, Jennie!
I'm thrilled to hEAR you'll be cruising on the Disney Wonder. She is my favorite ship! That may be because we sailed to
Alaska on her. How can you go wrong when you have glaciers and whales right outside your stateroom? It's spectacular!
You will use your Key to the World card and charge everything (
including alcoholic beverages) to your stateroom account. It just makes it easiest to handle all charges this way, and then you will settle up your account before disembarking. Whether you choose to pay the account off using a credit card, cash, or a Disney gift card (or any combination of these), it is entirely up to you!
Did you know that spa treatments at
Senses Spa and Salon,
meals at Palo, gratuities, and onboard merchandise purchases can also be placed on a Guest’s stateroom account? Talk about convenient!
Finally, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention
Beverage Tastings, one of my favorite experiences on a Disney cruise. These seminars are informative and interactive with the bartender/instructor teaching Guests about the making of and origins of some popular spirits and liquor. So far, my favorite ones have been the Mixology Class, Stem-to-Stern Wine Tasting, and the Tequila and Margarita Tasting. The prices are always subject to change, but currently range from approximately $20-35. Because they are so fun and a great price, these seminars tend to fill up fast. So go ahead and book these as soon as your Advance Booking Window opens by visiting My Cruise Activities on the Disney Cruise Line website.
Raise another glass filled with a question if you need more planning advice. We are always happy to give refills! Have a WONDERful cruise.
SEA ya real soon!
