Hi there, Marcela!
Welcome aboard! I know planning for a larger party can be difficult, especially if not everyone is sure their schedules will work out. The good news is that you have some options!
It's always best to book your Disney Cruise as early as possible to secure the itinerary and stateroom you want. I would go ahead and book your rooms based on your full party because you can
edit your travel details later. To adjust your group you'll go to
"My Reservations" on the website where you'll have the option to remove guests from your staterooms. You're also welcome to
call Disney Cruise Line to have a Cast Member help you adjust your group. Because changes will likely impact your cruise fare it might be nice to make the changes over the phone so you can ask any questions you may have.
Your deposit applies to your total cruise fare, so I would recommend having your party finalized before
the date when you must be paid in full. At the moment, cruises between one and five nights long require the final payment 90 days before your sail date. If your cruise is six nights or longer the final payment is due 120 days before your sail date.
I'm guessing you may already have a ship or itinerary in mind for your cruise, but there are several ships departing on your arrival date so I can't be sure which one you're dreaming of. It looks like they are all Bahamian sailings though, which would mean visiting
Disney Castaway Cay or
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point...or maybe both! These gorgeous islands are a huge part of why I love cruising with Disney. They are literal slices of paradise with plenty of pixie dust sprinkled in! I especially love the
attention to conservation at Disney Lookout Cay. I'm so grateful that Imagineers took the time to make sure that such a beautiful place is protected and preserved while we visit!
Happy planning, Marcela! I hope you and your party will be sailing towards a beautiful destination soon!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
