Hello, I'm planning cruise first week in December and i have two questions first do they do something special on the cruise for the holiday season? and on our way back we will be going to WDW but we can only go to one park which one do you recommend?

    Hi Dora,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  We cruised once during the holiday season, and I can tell you that the ship was decked out in it's holiday decor.  Many of the formal photo opportunities with Mickey and Minnie take place in front of the Christmas tree, which is the perfect backdrop for those holiday cards.  Shutters even offers packages with special borders and artwork if you want to order your cards during your voyage.

Which park to visit, boy that is a tough one!  Personally I think a lot depends on whether or not it is your first visit - or if you're simply looking to extend the magic for one more day.  The Magic Kingdom is truly the core of Walt Disney World, so if I had to pick one park that would be it.  However another important factor would be based on which day you debark.  If it is Saturday after a 7-night voyage I would probably want to avoid the Magic Kingdom because it is very busy on Saturdays this time of year (and may coincide with the taping of the holiday parade).  My back-up choice would be Epcot, I love this park because it has a little something for everyone, feels magical with it's holiday decor and yet never feels overcrowded due to it's size and layout.

I hope this helps - if you want more specific advice about the parks just let me know what day of the week you plan on visiting, who you are traveling with (adults/children) and if you've been before!
