Hi! Im planning on coming to Disney on 8/18/2017 and leaving 8/20/2017 with my husband and 1 year old. It will be her birthday weekend. How can I plan and buy weekend package deal, fast passes, and Magic bands?

    Hi Chi-Chi,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey, Minnie and the gang are super excited to celebrate your daughter's birthday with her!

Time is of the essence. We prefer to book our vacations online through the Walt Disney World website although we have used a travel agency in the past. Just check the Special Offers first to see what discounts might be available. We always book a vacation package with a resort hotel, theme park tickets (at least two-days) and a dining plan

As long as you stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you will receive your complimentary MagicBands a few weeks prior to your trip. If you choose not to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you will need to book through a travel agency, another online site or directly with the hotel. You would then need to purchase your MagicBands separately.

If you want to do something extra special for your daughter's first birthday, try ordering a cake or another surprise from Disney Floral & Gifts. If you would prefer a unique experience, take a look at the Enchanting Extras Collection. On our next trip, we are taking our girls on the Caring for Giants tour to see the elephants in Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park!

Chi-Chi, we always bring little gifts from home for our girls to celebrate special occasions. Given your daughter's age, I am sure she will be happy with whatever you decide.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
