Hi! I'm planning to celebrate my boy's third birthday at Magic Kingdom, and I have a few questions. First, do I have to get him an entrance? Second are there any specials for him? And third what can I do to make it an unforgettable day. Thank you.

Greetingd Manuel and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am very happy to hear that you are planning a birthday celebration for your son at the place where dreams come true! Your family is going to make beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

There are many great things you can do to make his day special! Magic Kingdom Park is where you will find most attractions for pre-school children. Special celebrations for kids are not complete without character dining experiences. My suggestions for his age are Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom Park. Please note your celebration on your reservation so that Cast Members know you are commemorating! In addition, don’t forget to get a celebratory Happy Birthday button at your Disney Resort hotel or Guest Relations at any of the parks so that everybody knows it’s his birthday – although not guaranteed, you never know what kind of pixie dust he may be sprinkled with! If your son likes pirates, I recommend booking at appointment at The Pirates League so he can have his own pirate makeover! My daughter loved the experience!

Manuel, please note that children ages 3 and older are required to have park admission tickets, so you need to plan on buying them for your son. He will also be able to take advantage of FastPass+, and you can select his favorite attractions to enjoy with you.

I hope this helps you plan an amazing day for your son! Please stop by to visit us real soon!

    Best magical wishes,
