    I'm planning on buying my daughter (a resident) a Florida Resident Pass! We also have late summer plans, staying on site. Will she receive a Magic Band for annual pass and then one for the room? Does an annual pass come with Magic Band?

    Hi Jacalyn! What an awesome gift for your daughter.....a Disney annual pass is such a cherished thing for residents of Florida. It allows them to come and go throughout the year when they have the time or something special is happening.

    When you become an Annual Pass Holder you will be allowed to personalize a special magic band. Make sure she has a My Disney Experience account and have your daughter go to it to personalize it. I often put my name and AP on my Annual Pass band just to know which one it is.  When a guest comes for any future Disney visit in the resorts you will also get able to get new Magic Bands. Again, head to the MDE account to personalize it with colors and words.

    I have kept one Magic Band in each color but have made sure to deactivate all the holder ones. Too many might affect them from working smoothly without glitches.
