I’m planning to bring my family to WDW from Canada, November 11-18. 6 adults, 3 children (ages 4, 10, 12). Hoping to visit 4 parks. Interested in staying on site, perhaps at Animal Kingdom. 3 bedrooms, as long as they have 2 beds. Where do I start planning

Welcome to planDisney, Marc! You came to the right place to begin your planning! In fact, you’re ahead of the game! You’ve already identified your preferred travel dates and that you want to stay onsite (good choice) at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (another good choice)!

Let’s start with Animal Kingdom Lodge! This is a deluxe Disney World hotel! I encourage you to book the savanna view rooms. These special rooms allow Guests to watch over the permanent residents of the resort! Relax on your room balcony, with your favorite morning beverage, as you watch the giraffes and other animals make their way through the savanna! Watching the animals roam the savanna from the comfort of your own room is the best benefit of the savanna view rooms! I mentioned this is a deluxe resort hotel. Be sure to take advantage of the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit! Guests of deluxe resort hotels can enjoy extra hours in select theme parks, on select nights, throughout the year. This is the best perk of staying at deluxe resort accommodations!

It also sounds like you’re planning to visit all four theme parks – Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom! You’re going to get the best of everything Mickey has to offer!

When you’re ready to book, head to the Walt Disney World Resort website. At the top of the page, you’ll notice a header stating, “Build Your Vacation.” You can follow the prompts to enter your preferred travel dates (November 11 - 18, 2026), the number of adults (10+) and children (ages 3 – 9), your preferred resort hotel (Disney’s Animal Kingdom), and then click “View Rates.” On the next page, you should select the option for “Package.” You’ll then select your preferred room.

After selecting your preferred room, you’ll be prompted to customize your theme park tickets. You'll select the number of days you want to visit the theme parks. Please note you don’t have to visit the parks on consecutive days. You’ll be able to use your park tickets on any days between November 11 – 18, 2026.

Proceed with the prompts, including whether you wish to purchase the Disney Dining Plan, and then you’ll be ready to finalize your purchase.
