Merry Christmas, Daniel! It’s never too soon to plan for the 2025 Christmas season at the Walt Disney World Resort! Especially when we’re talking about
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party usually has two start dates for ticket sales. The first date will be for Guests with existing reservations. This is usually a few days before tickets go on sale to the general public.
So, if you book a reservation for next year’s party season, you will be eligible to purchase tickets for the Christmas party when tickets go on sale. Guests can’t necessarily “add” tickets to a vacation package. The tickets are purchased separately from your vacation package.
Tickets for this year’s party went on sale on July 2, 2024 for Guests with existing Walt Disney World Resort vacations. The general public could then purchase tickets on July 10, 2024. I anticipate a similar timeframe for 2025, but details will be announced next year.
Daniel, I recommend booking your vacation package when you are ready. Then, purchase your party tickets when they go on sale! And, here is a PRO TIP for you…If you are planning on a budget, you can plan on making your visit to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party your visit to
Magic Kingdom Park. I don’t think you’ll need to plan on purchasing tickets for another day at Magic Kingdom Park. The party is typically from 7:00 PM to midnight, but ticketholders can enter the park as early as 4:00 PM! That is a full 8 hours to enjoy Magic Kingdom Park!
