im planning on booking 1 or 2 nights at a disney resort, does it depend on what resort you book and the perks you get?(early entry to the parks, later times at the parks, advanced fast passes, ect) or is all resorts and no matter the length of stay

    Welcome to planDisney, Jordan!

How exciting that you're in the early stages of planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Right now, all of your great big beautiful tomorrows are brimming with pixie-dusted possibilities, so I'm delighted you stopped by planDisney as you begin the booking process. When it comes to discussing the benefits of calling a Disney Resort hotel your magical home away from home, I could do this all day, so let's get right to your question!

Walt Disney World is home to Disney Resort hotels at a variety of price points, so there's a place to hang your mouse ears no matter the budget. Happily, Guests of Value, Moderate, and Deluxe Disney Resort hotels, as well as the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney Deluxe Villas, are all entitled to the following perks for every night of their stay at this time:
    • Entrance to all of Walt Disney World's theme parks 30 minutes before the theme park opens each day with early theme park entry.
    • Complimentary entry to a Walt Disney World water park on the date of check-in (through 2025).
    • The ability to make dining reservations beginning 60 days before check-in for the entire length of your stay (up to 10 nights) instead of 60 days before the date of an individual dining reservation, as is the case for other Guests. This can be crucial for securing some of Walt Disney World's most popular restaurants.
    • The option to purchase Lightning Lane passes and make selections upon arrival in the United States 7 days before check-in for the length of stay (up to 14 days) rather than the standard 3 days in advance.
    • All Disney Resort hotels offer complimentary transportation to Walt Disney World's theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs, but the method of transportation to certain destinations varies. Be sure to check out your hotel's webpage for the specific offerings.
    • Complimentary self-parking at Disney Resort hotels and Walt Disney World's theme parks.
In addition to the perks available to all Disney Resort hotel Guests listed above, those staying at Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts (and a few select others) have access to a bit of additional pixie dust: Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. These extended evening hours are offered on select nights and allow Guests to enjoy select attractions, dining, and merchandise locations after the theme park closes for the day. Because extended hours are not offered nightly, you'll want to check the Hours & Events Calendar to see what the schedule will be during your vacation.

As you can see, Jordan, there's so much to love about staying at a Disney Resort hotel, no matter the length of stay! Once you've reviewed your options, feel free to stop back by planDisney for assistance making your hotel selection. We're always happy to help!
