I'm planning to book a 10:45am flight to return home. I was wondering if I could "Self Assist Debarkation" myself to ensure that I'm the first one off the the boat to make my return flight.

    Welcome aboard, Yvette -

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel site and logging in a question. If you are arriving at Port Canaveral at around 7:30am, you are welcome to head over to the gangway early to prepare to disembark first. You will need to have all your luggage with you at that time, and let the cast members at the exit area know that you are looking to catch an early flight out. Since there might actually be a few people lining up to disembark first, you'll want to get there early. You'll still need to have your Key to The World Card to be scanned at the exit.

I would suggest grabbing something to eat at Cabanas' breakfast buffet early that morning. There will be an announcement on the loud speakers once the ship has been cleared by US Customs. That signals the opening of the gangway, and you can walk yourselves and your luggage out to the port. You'll need to allow some time to clear US Customs, and then you can exit the port to ground transportation. Be aware that the airport is about a 45-minute to an hour drive, depending on traffic that morning.

I hope this helps, Yvette. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Have a great day!
