I’m planning a bachelorette trip in May ant the California Disneyland Resort. We are staying at the Disney Hotel and I’m wondering if there is any way to have something set up for when we get to the room to make our bride feel super special ?

Hip Hip Hooray, Jillian! What a time to celebrate! I'm so thrilled you came to planDisney to help with some special ideas and recommendations to give the Bride-to-Be a magical celebration of her dreams.

I hope I understand correctly that your travel party is planning to stay at the Disneyland Hotel. If so, this is the PERFECT destination for a bridal party! It is home to one of my favorite dining locations at Disneyland Resort, Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar. I just love the island-inspired food and cocktail menu and the ambiance is extra magical under the glow of the tiki torches. I can definitely see a toast to the Bride-to-Be happening here!

To answer your question, Jillian, I do have a couple of recommendations for your Bride's fairytale quarters at Disneyland Hotel! First, you can feel welcome to call the In-Room Celebrations Team and inquire about balloon bouquets or other decorations and treats that can be delivered directly to your room. Even if you don't opt for an In-Room Celebration, I would suggest reaching out to the Disneyland Hotel phone line and speaking with a Cast Member within 10 days of your arrival. At this time, they'll be able to place a note on your reservation that you are celebrating something special. I always do this before my kids' birthdays and occasionally, we've had a little pixie dust sprinkled on our visit! Of course, no guarantees, but it can't hurt to wish on that evening star!

My last recommendation, Jillian, is to pick up a complimentary celebration button for the Bride and your whole party. You can find them at your hotel lobby, select merchandise locations around the theme parks, and most Guest Relations locations. In addition to being a nice, personalized souvenir at the end of the visit, it is another simple and effective way to let Cast Members and Guests know that you're celebrating a most festive occasion! I have a few more tips for celebrating a bridal or bachelorette party at Disneyland, and I hope they prove useful to you and your travel group.

Jillian, please feel welcome to come back to planDisney if you have any other questions or need some more inspiration for your upcoming Disneyland Resort visit. I can't think of a better place to embrace all the magic of such a special milestone!

    Love is an open door,
