I'm planning to arrive Jan 31st - Feb 5th 2013...what will the weather and the crowds be like?

    Hi Angie,

It's my favorite time of year to go to Walt Disney World due to low to moderate crowds!

Weather will be absolutely...unpredictable. I've been there in late January when we wore shorts in 80 degree weather and on other trips where we were bundled in winter coats, hats, and gloves. Thankfully, it's usually somewhere in between.

I would strongly suggest observing the weather forecast as you are packing. It's a good time of year to bring layers - shirts, sweatshirts, jackets. However, if the forecast shows warmer weather, you can easily take out some of the heavily garments and pack some lighter weight clothes.

Average highs are 71 degrees and average lows around 49 degrees. Rainfall is usually light this time of year.

Now back to those crowd levels. Crowds the first week of February are low to moderate. Not as low as January but certainly nothing like you'd find if you were later in the month for Presidents' Week.

If I can help any further, just let me know!
