    I'm planing a special trip to Disney World to celebrate my husbands return from deployment for the end of September. How do you get picked to grand marshal the magic kingdom parade, or get to give the rose to Belle at the Beauty and the beast show at HS?

    Hi Skye,

    First, please let me say thank you to your husband for his service.  I love that you are celebrating his return with a trip to Walt Disney World!  I wish I could "wave a magic wand" to make it possible to get picked for one of those magical moments, but there really is no secret other than being in the right place at the right time.  

    I would encourage you to get a free "I'm Celebrating......." button at any of the park's Guest Relations to share with others your special celebration (you'll be able to finish the sentence on the pin). While there aren't any guarantees, sometimes those buttons can open the door for surprises.  I'd also include a notation in any dining reservations as well as your resort reservation about your celebration.
