I’m planing to go to Disneyland with my family around April 15-17. I heard fireworks is only on weekends & Friday night, but I’m not sure. During those days, we can’t see fireworks on weekdays? Also, is there too many crowd around April 15?

    Greetings Aya!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are definitely in for a treat this spring when you visit the Disneyland Resort! Starting April 13, 2018 is the all-new Pixar Fest taking place at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. This exciting celebration will showcase your favorite Pixar stories and pals with new food offerings, merchandise, Character meets, parades, and fireworks! For the first time you will be able to see Buzz Lightyear travel to infinity and beyond as he soars across the sky at Sleeping Beauty Castle during the new fireworks display, Together Forever - A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular. At this time, the schedule is not available for when this will be showing so be sure to check the Daily Events Schedule leading up to your trip to plan accordingly. During this time you can also see the return of my very favorite nighttime parade, the Paint the Night parade, at Disney California Adventure Park.

While this time of year may be popular due to Spring Break vacations and Pixar Fest, I would say you really shouldn't miss out on the opportunity to visit during this time. To maximize your time in the parks and limit attraction wait times, you should definitely purchase Disney MaxPass for making digital FASTPASS selections and having unlimited PhotoPass downloads. This has really maximized how much we can do in the parks, especially if it is a more popular season.

I hope this helps, and please come back if you have any other questions!
