Hello, Zilma,Welcome to planDisney. Around here, it's never too soon to plan our next Disney vacation. I'm fully on board with your idea! You've already got the first big thing done to get started with advanced planning for a Disney Cruise Line vacation: picking a season. Although exact itineraries for the summer of 2027 haven't yet been released, you can start to get an idea of the types of sailings that may be offered as well as research major home ports or ships that may interest you and your party. Here's a link to a fun quiz to get an idea of some Disney cruise possibilities. While offerings are subject to change, you might be able to get a good idea of what sailings may be offered in the summer of 2027 by using the Find a Cruise page to search for summer 2026 itineraries. I like to select different starting dates and ports to explore all the possible adventures. For my family, the ship itself is one of the primary destinations when we go on a Disney cruise. You can research details about each ship right on the Disney Cruise Line website. Here's a list of the current and upcoming ships in the fleet along with some of my favorite things about them:
A great advantage of planning early is that you'll have the opportunity to pick from the widest variety of available itineraries, ships, and staterooms when the summer 2027 itineraries are announced, which I expect will be sometime in early 2026. I've found that booking early is also a great way to find the best prices on our Disney cruises. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Disney Cruise Line website for news of when those summer 2027 cruises may be booked. In the meantime, please feel free to visit us again here at planDisney to ask any more planning questions you may have.Happy planning, Zilma!~Tony
