Bom dia, Jonathan!
Welcome to planDisney. And congratulations to you and your noiva. Enjoying a first visit to The Happiest Place on Earth together sounds like a dream come true!
I get the feeling that you are familiar with visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, the Most Magical Place on Earth! The Disney Parks in Florida offer the
Disney Magic Mobile service that allows Guests to store theme park admission in their Apple Wallet or other mobile wallet feature of their mobile devices. We are eagerly awaiting the expansion of digital services like this at the Disneyland Resort. Although MagicMobile has not yet arrived at the Disney Parks in California, there are a few magical conveniences that I can recommend. Of course, Disneyland Resort
theme park tickets can be linked to the Disneyland mobile app. Then the Tickets and Passes screen of the app may be used for showing tickets for park entrance. My family and I have also loved using the new
MagicBand+ at the Disneyland Resort*. These handy devices can be linked with our theme park tickets to gain entrance to the theme parks, redeem
Lightning Lane return times, and more. I love the convenience of using MagicBand+ instead of pulling out my mobile phone. Or, more often than not, I’m busy using the Disneyland mobile app already looking up attraction wait times or dining menus. So it’s nice not to have to interrupt what I’m looking at on my phone when I need a ticket.
Tony’s Tip: Most Disneyland Resort locations where we use park tickets still support optical scans of ticket codes. So I find it handy to take a screenshot of my park ticket to use. I’ve even set that image as an image face on my Apple Watch or my phone Lock Screen to use at park entrances!
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Jonathan. If you have any more questions for us here at planDisney, please feel free to stop by again. If you’d prefer, we are even more than happy to answer questions for you
em português!
See ya’ real soon, Jonathan!
~Tony
*Note that only MagicBand+ is supported at the Disneyland Resort. Older MagicBand and MagicBand 2 devices are only supported at the Walt Disney World Resort. The good news is that if you buy a MagicBand+, it can be used at both places!
