Well hello there Mary and welcome aboard planDisney!
There's something extra special about sailing on the Disney Magic, especially being the first of her kind among
an ever-growing fleet along with her first time sailing out of
New Orleans!
It looks like the two sailing dates
on the Disney Magic around Easter in 2023 fall on April 6th and April 10th for 4-Night and 5-Night Western Caribbean cruises, respectively. I spoke with a
Disney Cruise Line Guest Services Cast Member this morning who informed me that regrettably at this time, there will be no clergy nor religious services offered on board for these voyages. They did want to make sure to note that this is however always subject to change and availability without any prior notice, so I recommend confirming again whether it is still the case as you board at the Port.
It'll definitely be a great idea to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App ahead of your arrival, as it will provide updates to any scheduled activities on board as soon as you connect to the ship's wireless internet when you embark. When I've sailed in the past, Interdenominational Services and Catholic Masses have been listed and easy to find on the Navigator for major celebrations over the liturgical year.
New Orleans is also known for its lively atmosphere, and there may be fantastic ways to take advantage of special Easter services, festivities and celebrations
with so many things to experience before or after your cruise! Feel free to come back to planDisney
to ask me anything that will help you prepare to set sail on your next adventure.
Wishing you a very Happy Easter in "The Big Easy!"
Prince
