I’m planing on booking a trip for April 21-24. Is the meal plan not available anymore?

    Hello Alexandria,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! April is just a few weeks away and so is the possibility of a magical vacation.

Although the Disney Dining Plan will be returning at some point, an official date for its return has not been announced, so it's safe to say it won't be available by mid-April. The Disney Dining Plan is great for helping guests pre-pay for all of their meals and maybe even save some money in the process; I can't wait for it to return. In the meantime, I've found that purchasing Disney Gift Cards and setting them aside specifically for meals does almost the same thing. You can even transfer funds from one card to another and reload cards when necessary.

Hopefully, not having the Dining Plan available doesn't keep you away from joining The World's Most Magical Celebration. In order to visit Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom, you'll need to make a reservation to the park you plan to visit each day. During some weeks, all of the reservations may be booked. It's good to check before the Park Reservation Availability Calendar before you make plans. Then you'll want to make sure you can get a hotel reservation for the dates you want to travel. Once you know that you are able to book a hotel stay AND get park reservations, then you can start planning your magical vacation!

Mickey hopes to "see ya real soon!"
