I'm piggy backing on a business trip to spend a weekend in WDW... My son is 2 and I'm considering the All Stars Movies Resort package with tickets and meals to flavor the WDW Resorts experience for a future vacation. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks

    Hi Gladeline,

My first trip to Walt Disney World as an adult was an add-on to a conference that my husband was attending.  This experience won me over and now we visit again and again!

I think that a Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining, staying at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort is a great idea for your first experience.  With the Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining, your Disney theme park tickets and meals will be included, which adds ease to your vacation.  Also, with your son being 2 years old, he is still young enough that he does not need a theme park ticket or a dining plan, as he can eat from your plate.  This will save you money on this trip.  Staying at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort will allow you to have all of the perks offered to Walt Disney World guests, including complimentary Disney transportation around Walt Disney World as well as the opportunity to participate in Extra Magic Hours, which allow Walt Disney World resort guests to spend extra time in a particular Disney theme park each day.

Since you are considering getting the feel of Walt Disney World resorts for future vacations, I recommend that you plan some meals at the other Walt Disney World resorts.  For example, you could head to Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort on a day that you are visiting Magic Kingdom Park by taking the monorail.  A favorite of mine is Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, which is a quick walk to Disney's Beach Club Resort from Epcot.

I think that you have a good plan for your vacation, Gladeline.  Have a wonderful time planning this trip, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
