I'm picking up a rental car at the Tampa airport. A few days later, I'm driving to Disney World. Is there anywhere in Disney World where I can return the car?

Hello Sandra, and welcome to planDisney!

I can not begin to tell you the number of ways my family and I have rented cars during our Walt Disney World Resort vacations! I have done one-way and round-trip rentals, in addition to dropping off a rental and being shuttled to my destination, and I love every second of it.

You can drop your car rental at Walt Disney World Resort from Tampa. First, reserve a one-way rental from TPA to the Car Care Center (zip code 32836). Please note that you can drop the car off at the Car Care Center - Car Rental Facility as long as you have reserved your car from Alamo, Enterprise, or National. Once you return the vehicle, you can utilize the Complimentary Shuttle Service to drop you off at your Walt Disney World Resort or one of the theme parks. We have enjoyed this service on several occasions and have always been impressed with the service. If renting from another company like Avis, you can drop the car off at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista. While they do not provide a shuttle service to your Disney Resort, you will be within walking distance of Disney Springs. You can walk over to Disney Springs and hop the bus transportation to your resort or utilize a ride-share mobile app and have them take you to your resort.

Please return should you have additional questions; we are here to help.

    Have a magical experience.
