I'm picking up my So Cal Select Pass next week and was wondering if I have to bring anything more than my ID to get it? Or if another proof of residency is also required? Thanks.

Hey howdy hey, Franklin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians join the Annual Passport family!

I also have the Disney Southern California Select Passport, and I love the benefits and discounts that come along with it! This Passport is currently available for purchase by Southern California residents living in ZIP codes 90000 to 93599. You can purchase this Passport in Full, or by selecting the Monthly Payment Option for California Residents. If you complete your transaction online, you’ll need to print your Disney eTicket or access it from your mobile device upon arrival at the Main Entrance Ticket Booths. There, you’ll need to present a valid government-issued photo ID, in addition to proof of Southern California residency. So, as long as your ID shows your current Southern California address and ZIP code, then you should be good to go! You can also call Annual Passport Member Services at (714) 781-4567 with any additional questions.

I also recommend linking your Passport to your online Disney account… once you’re all set up, you’ll be able to view blockout dates and new Passholder perks online and on the Disneyland app. For an additional fee, you can also add Disney MaxPass to your Passport – this tool allows you to make digital Disney FASTPASS selections directly from your phone while in the parks, which is a huge time-saver, especially when you’re park-hopping!

If you’re heading to the parks by September 2, I recommend stopping by Summer AP Corner in Paradise Gardens Park in Disney California Adventure Park! Just by showing your Disneyland Annual Passport and valid ID, you’ll receive a Lion King-themed keepsake button (while supplies last), and the opportunity to strike a pose against a Lion King-themed photo backdrop. While you’re there, don’t miss the last few showings of Tale of the Lion King! This has been my family’s favorite summertime show, and we’re sad to see it go!

Wishing you a magical year ahead as an official Annual Passholder!

    See ya’ real soon,
