I'm participating in my first Princess 5k in February. I'm a local so I'm not staying on property. Given that the race starts at 0600, what time should I plan on being in the parking lot so that I can be where I need to be by start time?

    Hi Rebecca!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The Disney Princess 5K during Princess Half Marathon weekend is a great race!  I think you're going to love it.

Since there aren't as many runners in the 5K races, traffic is not nearly as crazy as on the day of the half marathons.  I would want to be at the starting area no later than 5:00 a.m.  There is a lot of fun taking place there!  Warm-up music, photo opportunities and more will make that hour pass quickly.

A few weeks before the race weekend, there will be an Official Event Guide that will have driving directions for each race morning taking road closures into account.  You should receive a link to it in an email and you'll be able to find it on the Princess Half Marathon website, under the RUNNER INFO tab.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
