Hello! I´m palning to go to Diney Orlando again (yeap!!! 5th Time) but in this opportunity with my 16 months baby. I would need to know if the Minimies G4/G5 are allowed in the theme parks? Other consideration I should have? Thank you!

Hello there, Jimena! Welcome back to planDisney! I’m so excited for you. What a special milestone to be sharing this trip with your little one. You're going to make such beautiful memories together!

Now, let’s talk about your question regarding the MiniMeis G4/G5 carrier. First of all, I love that you’re planning ahead to keep your little explorer comfy while enjoying the parks! After doing some careful research and double-checking the official Walt Disney World guidelines, I have some bad news to share.

Backpacks and similar items (like baby carriers) are permitted, as long as they do not exceed 61 cm long x 38 cm wide x 46 cm high. Unfortunately, the MiniMeis's dimensions are 28 cm long x 35 cm wide x 100 cm high, which go well over the size limits. Because of that, the MiniMeis G4 and G5 models aren’t allowed inside the theme parks.

I know that’s probably not the answer you were hoping for, and I’m so sorry to be the bearer of less-than-magical news! But the good news is that there are plenty of baby carriers and soft structured options out there that do fit within Disney’s guidelines, so if you’re open to exploring a different carrier, you’ll still be able to bring something that keeps your little one close while staying comfortable for you, too.

One more tip! Be sure to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers in each park. They’re quiet, air-conditioned spaces with changing tables, feeding areas, and toddler-sized toilets. Definitely a total lifesaver for parents with little ones.

Jimena, I hope this helps you feel extra prepared for your next magical adventure! If you have any more questions before your big trip, I’m always here and so happy to help. Wishing you and your baby a vacation full of giggles, cuddles, and unforgettable magic!

    Warm hugs,
