Hi, Kelsey!
I know that planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be overwhelming, especially as a new mom. A friend of mine once said, "One doesn't just
GO to Disney." Just a little bit of planning can make a world of difference in your vacation budget and experience. Fear not, we're here to help!
First, check the
Special Offers section of the Walt Disney World website often. Also, I recommend visiting MouseSavers.com and subscribing to their newsletter. You'll find a wealth of valuable information on planning a budget-friendly vacation to Walt Disney World along with tons of tips. There are certain times of the year that are much slower than others and you can find some amazing specials during those slower times. My family often goes during those times because you still get to experience all of the magic for a lower price! If you haven't already, order your Free Disney Parks Vacation Planning DVD.
Without knowing the size of your family and ages of your kiddos, it's hard for me to give you a ballpark figure. Here's the thing though, a Disney vacation can be affordable for any budget if you plan ahead. You can ship snacks and things you'll need which will save you a lot of money versus buying in the Parks. If you can be flexible on your dates, you'll save money there too. The first thing to work on is deciding where you want to stay, whether it be on Walt Disney World property or not, and what dates you'd like to visit. Also, keep in mind that if you're flying in, your airport transportation [to and from] is complimentary if staying on property!
I'm just about out of room here, but I'd love to help with additional questions you have, so please don't hesitate to
send me a follow-up question or two!
Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
