Hello! I’m going to be in Orlando and wanted to plan a date night. We stayed at the Polynesian on our honeymoon and love the drinks at the tambu lounge. Would we be able to come to the Polynesian and have a couple drinks without actually staying there?

    Hi Danielle!

I love enjoying a date night at Walt Disney World Resort with my husband! We got married at Walt Disney World Resort, so any time we have an evening with just the two of us during our vacation, it feels like the perfect way to celebrate our marriage!

All Guests are welcome to visit the Disney Resorts Collection hotels to enjoy the merchandise and shopping the hotels offer, even if they aren't staying at that hotel. So you are welcome to visit Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for drinks at Tambu Lounge during your date night. I recommend that you also check out Trader Sam's Grog Grotto or Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace during your visit, which are some of my favorite lounges at Walt Disney World Resort because of their unique beverages. Be sure to check out the Kalua Pork Tacos because they are incredible and perfect as an appetizer to share!

To complete your date night itinerary, be sure to consider grabbing a dinner reservation for you and your partner. The restaurants at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are fantastic, but you can also hop on the Resort Monorail to enjoy one of the options at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Disney's Contemporary Resort. I highly recommend California Grill for your special evening because it combines incredible food and amazing views!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
