I’m going to orlando for 2 days next week! My daughter is 3 years old and one of our dreams is to show her the magic kingdom parade! Is there any chance to get tickets for my family to fulfill this dream? Thanks

Warm greetings from Florida, Juan! Welcome to planDisney!

What a wonderful trip you have planned for your little princess. There's truly nothing like seeing the magic of Walt Disney World come alive for a child. I'm so excited for you to experience it with your daughter!

You can buy tickets on the Walt Disney World website, but it's also really important to know that you'll need to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the theme park you want to visit each day. Checking the calendar for next week, it looks like there are no reservations available for the Magic Kingdom Park, but EPCOT does have availability. That means the best way to visit the Magic Kingdom next week would be to buy tickets with the Park Hopper Option added. You'll make a reservation for EPCOT now, and then on your park day, you'd need to visit EPCOT first. When park hopping opens at 2 p.m., you can "hop" over to the Magic Kingdom. It makes for a very busy day of theme park fun, but I promise you won't miss a minute of the magic!

When you arrive at the Magic Kingdom, keep an eye out for the character cavalcades running throughout the day! These are like mini-parades made up of just a float or two that have replaced the full parades during Walt Disney World's phased reopening process. They don't run on a published schedule, but you're sure to catch one as you travel around the parks. It's your chance to wave hello to some of your favorite Disney pals!

Juan, for lots more tips on discovering the Walt Disney World Resort with your little Mouseketeer, check out Disney's helpful guide for parents of preschoolers. It's full of advice for finding attractions and experiences that are perfect for Mickey's youngest Guests!

If you have any trouble buying your tickets or making Disney Park Pass reservations, you can call Disney's Guest Relations at (407) 939-5277. A Cast Member will be happy to help you get your plans on track.

I hope this helps you plan a magical vacation for your family, Juan. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
