Hi, I'm organising a big trip and struggling to make reservations for 9, I've booked 2 smaller tables for places instead to get reservations so was wondering whether there's a way to combine them or have the tables next to each other?

Hey there Stephanie and welcome to planDisney!

Big family vacations can sometimes come with big challenges. My next Walt Disney World Resort vacation this fall is as the planner for a travel party of 10 so I totally understand your Advanced Dining Reservation struggle. I'm anticipating having to potentially do some interesting maneuvering myself. Here's what I would recommend. Definitely get to your restaurant early to speak with the Cast Member who is serving as host. They are the absolute best and always do what they can to make the Guest experience as magical as possible. They may be able to seat your parties together or at least as close to each other as possible if there's availability. Be prepared that there may be a bit of a wait until there are tables together, especially if it's a busy time.

Pro-tip: It's actually pretty easy to call the restaurants in Disney Springs over the phone. For dining there, it may be worth a try to call the restaurant directly and see if there's anything they can do.

Stephanie, I hope you have an absolutely magical time this August. Hopefully, those dining dilemmas will work out in your favor. If you have any other questions, just come right back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
