Amy Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Im going to be ordering a 6inch cake for hubbys 21st. Will they put candles in it if i ask? Will i have to provide the candles? Thanks.

    Hi there, Amy!

While most restaurants do supply a single candle - I have seen the cake brought to the table with the candle lit and unlit - you might want to consider bringing a couple of candles of your own, just in case.

You could purchase a novelty number candle, for instance, and slip that to your server to make the cake extra-personalized.

If you mention the birthday to the Cast Member at the restaurant check-in, sometimes you'll find some extra birthday magic on your table. This is by all means not guaranteed, but it never hurts to try.

And do make sure to pick up the complimentary birthday button, available at your Resort or at Guest Relations of any of the Parks. You can also grab some "I'm Celebrating!" pins for the rest of your traveling party.

    Have a great time!

    See you later, celebrator,
