I am so glad you brought this question to us. As an
Annual Passholder, I love that I don't have to worry about bouncing between theme parks and truly enjoy the discounts at merchandise and dining locations.
So "let’s get down to business" and get you some answers.
Walt Disney World Resort is very specific about their annual passes. This is the policy as it stands today:
"All Passes: All passes exclude activities/events separately priced. Pass types, entitlements and prices subject to change without notice. Passes are nontransferable and nonrefundable." I contacted a Cast Member at 407-WDW-PASS (407-939-7277) to verify and also asked if there was any way to downgrade an Annual Passholder level to receive a credit or partial refund and they restated the policy above. Your annual pass will automatically expire at 365 days after first use. At your renewal period, you may choose a different Passholder program or discontinue altogether.
Disney Dad Tip: Even though you may not be able to visit as often as you would like you may still use your annual pass for discounts on purchases
online and through the
mobile app.
