I'm not understanding the Dining Plan. We're getting in late on Day 1 and then will be at the theme parks for 4 days. However, I'm being told that I must purchase a 5-night dining plan vs. a 4-day dining plan. I'm not seeing the value of this? Thanks!

    Hi Mary!

You have to purchase the Dining Plan for the number of nights you will be staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.  So if you are staying 5 nights, then you have to purchase the Dining Plan for 5 days, but the credits don't expire until midnight on the day you check-out.  Obviously, this doesn't work for everybody, and thus a lot of guests don't buy a Disney Dining Plan.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
