I'm not 100% sure how the dining package works. We included in on our vacation package. Could you explain? I know it only works at certain restaurants and when the "points" are up it's gone. But are there restaurants at our Hotel too?

    Hi Nell,

As there is so much information associated with the Disney Dining Plan and you don't mention which one you have purchased (there are a few different types that you could choose from and each one varies), I suggest you view the following link to learn everything there is to know about the Disney Dining Plans before you leave (just click on the Dining Plan that you have) as well as a link to the Regular Dining Plan Brochure (in pdf format) and the Quick-Service Dining Plan Brochure (also in pdf) just in case you have this one instead of the regular one.  These brochure links will list all of the participating restaurants on the Dining Plan and where they are located (i.e. Parks, Resorts and Downtown Disney).  You don't mention which WDW Resort you are staying at, so I can't really tell you which restaurant is available to you, but you can certainly find it in the brochure link.

One more very important suggestion I have (seeing as you are new to this) is to make your reservations well ahead of time (up to 180 days in advance).  Popular Dining Experiences fill up very quickly at WDW and I would hate for you not to know about making your reservations ahead of time and miss out on some very special dining opportunities.  Just visit this link and you can pick the restaurants you are interested in and make your reservations.  Hope this helps!

    Best wishes,
