    I'm not staying in the Disney resorts but I would like to dine at Chef Mickeys. How much time will I need to get to the restaurant form outside of the park?

    Hi, Anthony!    Since I don't know where you are staying, it is hard to give a travel time.    Assuming your hotel is near International Drive, plan on 45 minutes to 1 hour travel time.   You will want to drive as if you are going to  the Magic Kingdom then follow the signs to the Contemporary Resort.   You will be given a temporary parking permit that allows you to park at the Contemporary during your dining time.  If you are a few minutes early, take time to enjoy the awesome lobby area and shops inside the resort.  

    Chef Mickey's is a very popular dining destination, so make sure you make Advance Dining Reservations either on-line or by calling (407)WDW-DINE.

    To get directions and approximate travel times, go to www.mapquest.com, type in your resort address and the address for the Contemporary:  4600 N. World Dr.  Orlando, FL  32830.
