Hi Alice, welcome to planDisney!
Madame Leota tells me your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up soon. I also understand you may have valid admission and a
theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park on a day that
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is scheduled. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the crowd level at Magic Kingdom Park on days that Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is scheduled. The park will especially clear out after 2:00 p.m. once
Park Hopping hours begin. Guests attending the Halloween party may enter Magic Kingdom Park beginning at 4:00 p.m. so I encourage you not to book any advance dining reservations before that time. Instead, I recommend placing a
mobile food and beverage order for lunch at one of Magic Kingdom's delicious quick-service restaurants and experiencing as many attractions and entertainment offerings as possible before the
park closes at 6:00 p.m.
When it comes to making plans for dinner, Alice, I personally haven't seen any advance dining reservations for Magic Kingdom table service restaurants on Halloween party nights after park closing. Making an advance dining reservation for a table service restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park any time before 6:00 p.m. is certainly an option, but I encourage you to consider a new dream. My recommendation is that you make a reservation for one of the amazing table service restaurants located at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel on the monorail loop for 6:30 p.m. or later.
Steakhouse 71 at Disney's Contemporary Resort is just a ten-minute walk from the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park and offers tantalizing steak and dessert options. My family enjoyed dinner at the
Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa just last week and I highly recommend the Buttermilk-fried Chicken. The noodles at
'Ohana located in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are famous for a reason, and they're just a boat ride away from Main Street, U.S.A. Any of these options allow you to maximize your time in the park and enjoy a deliciously memorable dining experience.
Before you depart Magic Kingdom Park, I highly recommend satisfying your present or future sweet tooth with a treat from
Main Street Confectionery. Seasonal Mickey krispie treats travel well, as do bags of Goofy's Candy Co. gummies. No tricks, just treats!
Hurry back to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
