Hi Tonya! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
I'm sure you are excited to get into the planning process for your upcoming Walt Disney World visit. Taking on the planning for a large group can be overwhelming, but you have come to the perfect place to get help on this. When deciding on a vacation package, there will be two major factors that you will need to determine; where you plan to stay and how many park days you want to include. Choosing your
Disney Resorts Hotel is one of the most fun parts of the process since each one is themed so differently. The hotel you choose will play a large part in the overall vibe of your trip.
Since you are traveling with nine Guests, you will be limited in the number of resorts you have to choose from if you all want to stay in one room. Disney Deluxe Villas offer 2-bedroom villas at many of their resorts which will typically sleep up to nine Guests. I took a peek at availability based on your arrival date and I found a few resorts that can accommodate your party.
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort,
Disney's Old Key West Resort, and
Disney Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village will all be options during this time based on current availability. I've stayed at each of these and they are all wonderful in their own right. Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas is truly a special place, mostly because there is a savanna for all Guests to enjoy. You even have the option to have a resort room with a balcony that overlooks these animals in their natural habitat.
You also have the option to split up the group and book multiple standard rooms if everyone did not want to stay together. Since you have an odd number of nine, there are a limited amount of resorts that will accommodate five Guests in one room. When searching for your hotel, make sure to keep this in mind.
Once you decide on your resort, you can then choose the number of
park days for your ticket package. Being that you want to visit all four theme parks, I would suggest purchasing a minimum of a 4-day park ticket. This will give you access to one park per day. You can also increase the number of days all the way up to ten. In my opinion, I would suggest adding on a fifth day to be able to visit the
Magic Kingdom Park twice. There are so many attractions at this park, that it is nearly impossible to fit them all in on one day. Also, if you are limited in the number of days and still want to visit every park, you can add the Park Hopper Option to your tickets. This will allow you to visit multiple parks on the same day.
If you want additional help and do not want to book your vacation package yourself through the Walt Disney World website, I would suggest reaching out to an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. You can find them by performing a simple Google search. These individuals can book your entire stay, including airfare, airport transportation, resort reservations, and ticket packages. It will be a one-stop shop. The best part about using a Vacation Planner is there is no extra cost to you. You will pay the same amount for your vacation as if you booked it yourself!
Tonya, best of luck in the planning process! I hope you have a magical time during your upcoming stay. Please come back to
