Ahoy, Courtney!
Welcome aboard planDisney! You’re right—packing for a Disney cruise can feel like assembling your very own Infinity Gauntlet. Do you bring the tux, the tiara, the superhero cape, or the pirate hat?
Knowing ahead of time makes your adventure smooth sailing, so I’m glad you asked.
For 2026, Disney is putting its superpowers into
Marvel Day at Sea, which means Pirate Night won’t be sailing along on your itinerary. On your 4-night cruise, you’re currently scheduled to dive into all things Marvel on Day 2 (at sea). This is the perfect time to assemble your crew and dress as your favorite heroes—or even villains if you’re feeling a little Loki. Keep your eyes on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the full schedule so you don’t miss heroic meet-and-greets, jaw-dropping shows, and trivia fit for the Sorcerer Supreme himself.
Now, while you won’t be swashbuckling with Captain Jack Sparrow and the rest of the scallywags this time around, don’t pack away your fanciest attire just yet! On Day 4 (also at sea), there’s an optional “dress-up” night. Think of it as your royal ball at sea—a chance to sparkle, shine, and capture some magical family photos. In my experience, wrangling everyone into picture-perfect outfits can feel a little like helping Dory stay on topic, but it’s always worth it when you find that just-right backdrop onboard.
I hope this clears the fog on what to pack and sets you up for smooth sailing. Whether you’re suiting up like Iron Man, channeling your inner Captain Marvel, or simply dressing to impress, your
voyage on the Magic is sure to be—as Spider-Man would say—amazing.
Sea ya real soon with boo-tiful nights and frightfully fun days,
Dustin
