Hi Stephanie,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I remember heading into the theme parks with my daughter when she was a baby.
Epcot was her first park as well! Let me offer you a few thoughts on your theme park day with your little one.
Typically, I recommend bringing with you items that you know make her happy at home. If there is a stroller she really likes, or a particular bottle or blanket, bring those. I found that keeping my baby comfortable and secure made her happy, which made me happy! If you need a relaxing place to feed or change her, check out the
Baby Care Center. There is one of these at each theme park, and at Epcot it is in the Odyssey Center. The Baby Care Centers provide comfortable places when you need to tend to, or just take a break with, your little one.
I think that heading to Epcot on a weekday during the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is a good idea. I agree with you that I find weekdays at this event to be less crowded than weekends, and also that earlier in the day tends to be less crowded as well. You should be able to sample lots of yummy foods while there with your baby.
I found that there were some attractions at Epcot that my daughter enjoyed even as a baby. These are the gentler, but visually stimulating rides, such as Journey into Imagination with Figment, Living with the Land, and Spaceship Earth.
I hope that you have a wonderful time visiting Epcot with your baby, Stephanie! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
