Hi Amber! Welcome to the Passholder family! I'm so glad you stopped by
planDisney with this question because booking as an
Annual Passholder works a little differently. The great news is that you have a really straightforward path depending on the type of reservation you want.
If you're hoping to add a
Disney Dining Plan to your stay, you'll need to book a ticketless package. Since your Annual Pass already covers your theme park admission, the package will include your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay plus the Dining Plan you want to add, but no theme park tickets. Booking these special packages can't be done online. Instead, you'll need to call the
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder hotline so a Cast Member can put everything together for you.
I spoke with a very friendly Cast Member who confirmed that, as of November 21, 2025, ticketless packages follow the same payment structure as standard vacation packages. That means you'll pay a $200 deposit at the time of booking (always subject to change), and the remaining balance will be due 30 days before check-in. It does not follow the one-night-room-rate deposit you'd make when booking a room-only reservation. So in your case, since you want to add a Dining Plan, your reservation becomes a package, and that $200 deposit applies. Remember that this can change at any time!
Once your package is confirmed, it will function exactly the same as packages booked by non-Passholders: same payment timeline, same modification rules, and the same ability to customize your Dining Plan for the two of you. It's a super convenient way to bundle everything together without needing to handle each element separately.
Amber, you are setting yourselves up for such a beautifully planned visit. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're always available and more than happy to help here at planDisney!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
