I'm a new mom traveling with a 2 year old in December. Do the resorts provide cribs or do we call to rent one from somewhere? All help and advice is appreciated.

    Hi Suzanne!

Traveling with a toddler to Walt Disney World will be such a fun experience. Seeing their eyes light up when they see a familiar Disney character is priceless. Make sure you capture all of those moments on film whether its your own camera or using the Disney PhotoPass service.

All of the Disney resorts will have the Portable cribs available for you to use during your stay. It is at no cost to you. Be sure and make the request on your reservation ahead of time so they are aware of your need. When you check in also mention that you will need a crib and they can make sure housekeeping delivers it to your room promptly. Some resorts will have the larger size cribs but it is on a resort to resort basis so you would need to call ahead. If you need or desire a full size crib or a specific kind then you can arrange to rent one from a local service.

Each of the resort shops will also have basic baby items for sale in case you need something. Guests are more then welcome to ship ahead things they might need such as a box of diapers. I know how hard it is to pack all of that in a suitcase. There might be a small fee for each box but in the end it is worth the effort.

The parks will also have a Baby Care Center in case you need something or even just a quiet place to rest during a park visit.

Disney welcomes all ages and tries very hard to make every guest's visit a stress free and magical one!
