I'm a new DVC member. I will be staying at SS for 1 week at the end of this month. I'm also 24 wks pregnant. What location at SS would be best to reduce the walking to the food court, buses and pool. I have a 3 & 15 yo daughters. I was thinking Grandst

    Hi Melissa,

Let me be one of the first to say "Welcome Home!" to Disney Vacation Club.  You have many years of magical vacations ahead of you!  I have also traveled to Walt Disney World while pregnant.  I found Walt Disney World to be a very friendly place to be while pregnant; however, I do think that you are wise to be thinking ahead of time about how to manage your visit.

At Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, The Springs is probably your best bet as the area closest to the main area of the resort, including High Rock Spring Pool and The Artist's Palette, which is the quick-service dining location.  If you do end up in another area of the resort, do not worry, remember that Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa has multiple pools and multiple bus stops.

I have found that if I check in and there is not a villa available in my requested location, sometimes if I ask the cast member and am willing to wait a while, a villa will become available later in the day in my requested location.  While Disney will do their best to honor requests, please do note that they are not guaranteed.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Melissa.  Have a wonderful time on your vacation!
