I'm a new DVC member & staying at home resort, BCV, for the first time in May 2013. I can't find much info online about a Studio Room. Do the bathrooms have double sinks? Are there robes like at the BC Resort Rooms? Is there any shopping/dining on site

    Hi, Bethany!

Welcome to the Disney Vacation Club family! You'll be so glad you joined! :-)

Disney's Beach Club Villas is a truly beautiful resort, and it's so convenient to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios that you may not want to ever stay anywhere else.

You can find photos and descriptions of what's in store for you at the resort, on one of my favorite unofficial websites, allears.net. Hover over "Walt Disney World," then select "Accommodations." Next, scroll down to "On-SIte Accommodations" to "Disney Vacation Club Resorts" and click on the first point, "Disney Vacation Club."  There, you'll be able to select "Villas at Disney's Beach Club Fact Sheet" where you'll find lots of information about this particular resort.

Click on the "Detailed Photo Blog" which is in the blue box to right, and you'll find Jack Spence's photos and information to be very informative. You'll see that the Studio Villas have only one bathroom sink, and that robes are not provided. This great resort is really just a stroll away from Disney's Beach Club Resort, where you'll find excellent dining options such as the fantastic Yachtsman Steakhouse, Cape May Cafe and Captain's Grille (all wonderful). Don't miss your opportunity to order "The Kitchen Sink" while at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, too. It's legendary!

You'll find just about anything you may need at Beach Club Marketplace, but don't forget that Epcot is just steps away from your resort, as are additional shopping and dining opportunities which circle Crescent Lake. This is truly a wonderful location, Bethany.  know you're going to love it!

Send more questions as you think of them; we I love to help! I'm so happy that you'll soon be hearing one of my favorite phrases for the very first time...Welcome Home.
